THE PAIN CHRONICLE – The University of Washington Research Study on Chronic Pain is seeking qualified individuals to participate in its study of the impact of Cognitive Therapy (CT), Mindfulness Medication (NM) and Activation Skills (AS) on chronic pain.
While research has shown the treatments are helpful for people with chronic pain, there is little research explaining why, according to the study head.
Qualified participants will receive cost-free evidence-based treatment for pain in eight Telehealth-delivered group sessions and will need to complete telephone interviews, a daily online survey and wear a wrist monitor to track activity during the period of the study.
In addition to complimentary treatment, participants will be compensated $375 for the completion of all study procedures.
